Amy Kraemer
COO / Founder

Amy Kraemer is a dedicated healthcare professional with 20 years of experience working in patient care and administrative services. Amy acquired a basic understanding of the healthcare system during her time as a nursing assistant with a nursing and rehab center within her community. In 1999 Amy joined a private optometric practice gaining a more in depth knowledge of patient care and operations management.

Amy’s expertise lies in the ever changing world of insurance payers, vision plans and government regulations. She has 15 years of experience in managing insurance contracts, credentialing, maintaining insurance accounts receivables and claims processes as well as proper billing, coding and medical record documentation. She has readily accepted invitations to share her knowledge by lecturing for various state and national optometric conferences including the American Optometric Association, Wisconsin Paraoptometric Association and SECO.

Amy also brings years of experience serving on the board of directors for the Wisconsin Paraoptometric Association and community volunteer groups; planning and hosting educational events, creating websites, developing future leadership groups and building relationships with industry and other healthcare professionals. She has served as Commissioner for the American Optometric Association Commission on Paraoptometric Certification. As a commissioner she worked with other committee members to create and implement a national Paraoptometric coding certification program.

As the current Director of Operations, Amy uses her experience and knowledge to help practices develop efficiencies, improve revenue cycles and stay informed. She is passionate about the profession of optometry and knows first-hand about the challenges and rewards that come with growing a successful practice.
